I have what they need." love this & need this confidence, lol. i'm not a playwright but i have always admired the way that theatre works; weeks of practice and preparation for only a few hours of performance. you can't hold a play in your hands like a book (well, a staged play anyway), and you can't rewatch it twenty times like a movie. i feel like the creation of ephemeral art like that requires some relinquishment of ego, or at least reverence for the present moment. congrats on the successes of the month and thanks for the honesty about the comedown <3
It’s definitely a balance! I have spent many days pulling the covers over my head and vowing to never write again! To your point about plays, they do make for a good read! You’d enjoy Sarah Kane! ❤️
